London Eye

Located on the South Bank of the River Thames at a height of 135 meters (450 feet), the London Eye is the world’s largest cantilevered observation wheel. Conceived and designed by Marks Barfield Architects, it was unveiled in 2000 to celebrate the new millennium.

On a clear day, the views from the top are spectacular, stretching as far as Windsor Castle. It has become one of the UK’s most popular attractions, offering tickets as standalone experiences or bundled in package deals with other top London sights. Pre-booking tickets in advance is strongly advised, as walk-up availability on the day is not guaranteed.

Whether you are visiting London for a weekend or an extended stay, this eye-conic attraction offers some of the best panoramic views of the city you'll find anywhere along the Thames.
